In an article published by Harvard Medical School in September 2020, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and anxiety are three common conditions that are often treated with medications. In some cases, patients can’t tolerate these drugs or might be hesitant to use them. For these people supplements may be an option, according to Dr. Donald Levy, medical director at the Osher Clinical Center for Integrative Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and assistant clinical professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.
